Alex and I have been lamenting the same issues in security for a long time. We met over a decade ago while working at RSA and each went on to work for and build several security companies since.

We spent our careers building security products for the Fortune 500. The tools we built protect some of the most important organizations on earth, from banks to hospitals to governments. That work mattered, and it still does.

But somewhere along the way, everyone else got left behind. Midsized companies face the same threats and the same compliance pressure, without the budgets or teams to handle them. So they make do with spreadsheets, checklists, and manual work. And when the overhead piles up, security gets pushed to next quarter. Then the quarter after that.

Meanwhile, the problem keeps getting harder. Access isn’t just about people anymore. Service accounts, API keys, and AI agents now outnumber the humans in most environments. And what someone (or something) can access changes daily.

So we built YeshID: precise, purpose-built identity and access management for teams rethinking what access means in a world where identities aren’t just human and nothing stays static for long.
