Alex and I have been lamenting the same issues in security for a long time. We met over a decade ago while working at RSA and each went on to work for and build several security companies since.

Throughout our careers, we built security products for large businesses. Thanks to folks like us, the enterprise has any number of fancy tools to manage security, compliance, and employee access. Meanwhile, startups, scale-ups, and small businesses are left with DIY spreadsheets and checklists, and a whole lot of busywork managing employee access in Google Workspace. And all that extra overhead means founders and small IT teams often have to kick the can down the road on security and compliance.

It just doesn’t make sense. Security shouldn’t be a luxury. We’re building drop dead simple identity, security, and access management tools for people who have bigger things to focus on than administrative work.
